A Celebration of Culture, Community & Legacy
There is something powerful about gathering in October. Hispanic Heritage Month reminds us of the richness, resilience, and brilliance of our communities. Día de los Muertos calls us to remember – to honor the ancestors, healers, advocates, and everyday heroes who fought so that we could be here today.
The VOCES Health Summit lives in that space. It is a convening rooted in science and data, yes – but also in culture, story, and belonging. When we talk about health, we are also talking about our families, our elders, our children, and the communities they will inherit.
October is when we come together to celebrate all of it – the progress, the people, and the promise of what comes next.
This year, Latinx Voces is once again partnering with ROCA to help weave culture, remembrance, and community connection throughout the Summit experience. ROCA will be providing cultural programming and opportunities to honor the people and stories that have shaped our communities.
