CEU

What are CEUs?

Continuing Education Units (CEU) are a standardized measure used to document completion of professional development and lifelong learning courses. Many professionals need CEUs to maintain active state or national licenses and certificates.

How do I sign up for a CEU?

To receive CEUs, please sign in at the registration table on October 23rd. If you need to leave early, make sure to sign out before you go. Evaluations will be provided after the summit, and you will have until Oct 31, 2026 to complete. Once evaluations are submitted and processed, certificates will be emailed within 4-12 weeks.

How do I get my certificate?

Certificates will be emailed directly by the organization providing the CEUs. For example, CPH certificates will be issued by Latinx Voces.

Who is this accredited by?

  • Community Health Workers CEUs – in partnership with Better Futures Forever Training Center
  • Social Work CEUs provided – in partnership with the UTRGV School of Social Work
  • Certification for Public Health (CPH) credits provided by Latinx Voces

How do CEU hours work?

Once evaluations are completed, we will identify attendees who requested CEUs and report this information to the organizations responsible for each specific CEU so they can issue the certificates.

Attendees who participate in the full Summit Day on October 23, including the Opening Ceremony, all scheduled sessions, and the Closing Ceremony, will earn the full 10 CEU hours. Participants who depart early will receive CEU credit only for the portions of the program they attended.

Do I need to attend a special session to receive my CEUs?

You do not need to attend a designated session to receive CEUs. Attendees who remain for the full summit will earn all 10 hours. If you depart early, CEU credit will be provided only for the sessions you attended.

I need to leave early, can I still get all 10 CEUs?

To receive the full 10 CEUs, attendees must stay for the entire summit. If you need to leave early, please sign out at the registration table and we can award CEUs for the sessions you were able to attend.
