The Latinx Voces Skills for Community Impact (SCI) Series is designed to strengthen workforce capacity across public health, healthcare, and community-based organizations.

As the final workshop in the 4-part Storytelling and Partnership Track, From Strategy to Systems: Sustaining Impact focuses on translating ideas into action through planning, evaluation, and systems-level thinking.

Participants will develop a clear plan for implementing storytelling and partnership strategies, identify meaningful metrics, and explore approaches for sustaining and scaling their work.

This session emphasizes real-world application, helping participants move from strategy to execution.

Why does this Workshop matter?

Strong ideas and strategies are only as effective as their implementation. Many professionals leave trainings with:

  • great ideas—but no clear next steps
  • strategies—but no system for follow-through
  • goals—but no way to measure success

This workshop focuses on how to move from

strategy → implementation → sustained impact

Together, we’ll walk through how to:

  • define clear next steps
  • build a realistic action plan
  • identify meaningful metrics
  • create systems that support long-term success

Why Implementation & Systems Matter

Sustainable impact in community health requires more than one-time efforts.

Strong systems help organizations:

  • maintain consistency and accountability
  • track progress and outcomes
  • improve programs over time
  • scale successful strategies
  • sustain partnerships and engagement efforts

This workshop focuses on building practical systems that support real-world work—not complex or academic models.

Workshop Objectives

In this interactive workshop, participants will learn how to:

  • Develop a 30–60–90 day action plan
  • Align storytelling and partnerships with organizational goals
  • Identify meaningful metrics to evaluate impact
  • Apply simple evaluation methods
  • Identify strategies to sustain and scale their work
